Red String Theory; Photographic Series
The East Asian Legend uprooted from Chinese Mythology known as “The Red String Theory”, is a belief for which people who are destined to meet are connected by a red string. This string resembles the fact that no matter boundaries of entanglement, the string’s length, and its ability to stretch; the two attached on either sides of the string are in fact bound to find one another no matter the circumstances.
Inspired by this theory, the photographs within this theme exemplify the visualization of The Red String Theory, through the portrayal of entanglement and a linking of two subjects.
